Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Lone Tree, Colorado. This OR RN will provide perioperative care in a fast-paced setup on a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

Required: 1 year OR RN experience, Colorado RN license, and BLS. Preferred: ACLS/PALS, CNOR certifications. Benefits include competitive pay and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent OR RN experience.
• Active RN license valid in Colorado.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and sterile instruments for procedures.
• Position and prep patients for surgery ensuring safety.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control.
• Anticipate needs of surgical team delivering instruments promptly.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and document findings.
• Handle instruments, sterilization, and waste per policy.
• Document care in perioperative records and ensure handoffs.
• Assist in OR turnover and restock between cases.
• Ensure compliance with policies and PPE guidelines.
