Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for the OR in Denver, CO. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week, with days on a 12-hour shift schedule. Join a dedicated clinical team delivering perioperative care in a facility in Denver.

You will ensure OR readiness, instrument handling, and patient safety while collaborating with the surgical team to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications.
• Preferred: CNOR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide instruments and support to the surgical team as needed.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document changes.
• Handle instruments, sterilization, and waste per protocol.
• Document care details in the perioperative record.
• Participate in handoff communications pre- and post-operation.
• Assist with room turnover and restocking between cases.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety standards.
