Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour days, and requires recent OR experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and ensure sterile supplies are ready for procedures.
• Assist in positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field during surgery.
• Anticipate team needs and hand instruments promptly to the surgeon.
• Monitor patient status and document significant changes during surgery.
• Maintain instrument integrity, manage specimen labeling and transport.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and efficiency.
