Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Indiana, Pennsylvania. You will join a dedicated clinical team and provide perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.

The role requires at least one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and a current BLS certification. Preferred candidates may hold ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR certifications to advance opportunities and duties within the team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Active RN license per state regulations must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with all instruments and sterile supplies.
• Position and prep patients for surgery ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control procedures.
• Provide instruments and supplies promptly to the surgical team.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery and document changes.
• Handle and dispose of surgical instruments according to protocol.
