TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse in Beckley, West Virginia for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour days shift, in the Operating Room as a traveling professional.

The role requires 1.5 years of acute care experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant, plus ACLS and BLS certifications. Travel experience and strong teamwork are essential to support surgeons and care teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Prepare and handle instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications with the physician.
• Liaise between patients' families and the operating team.
