Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Beckley, West Virginia. You will provide perioperative care, prepare the OR, and work with a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for each procedure
- Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety
- Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols
- Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team to support efficient workflow
- Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates changes to the surgeon
- Handles, sterilizes, and disposes of surgical instruments per facility protocol
- Documents patient care in the perioperative setting and ensures continuity of care
- Participates in handoffs pre- and post-operatively to ensure safe transfer of care
- Assists in cleaning and restocking the OR between cases and follows turnover protocols
- Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure compliance with policies and standards
