TotalMed RN is seeking an operating room travel nurse (OR) in Beckley, West Virginia. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with days shift.

The role requires OR RN experience as circulating, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant and is suitable for travel nurses ready to start immediately. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, patient education, and collaboration with the operating team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care as circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant as assigned.
• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients pre-, intra-, and post-operation.
• Educate patients and families on post-op care and home medication management.
