TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse (RN) for Beckley, West Virginia. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating/scrub RN, with ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and flexibility for a 13-week, 40-hour weekly schedule.

As an OR travel nurse, you will support surgical teams, provide perioperative care, and educate patients and families. Eligible candidates must be able to lift 20–50 pounds and work 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience as circulating or scrub RN.
• RN with operating room exposure and flexibility for travel.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education.
• Serve as a liaison between patient families and operating team.
• Prepare instruments and ensure correct procedures are performed.
• Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes.
