Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse to fill a travel assignment in Lancaster, California. This role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant.

The RN will assist surgeons, prepare instruments, monitor patients intraoperatively, and provide pre- and post-operative education. Shifts are 10 hours days, 40 hours per week, duration 13 weeks, with ACLS/BLS/NIH certs preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, 2 Years.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Monitor patient during surgery and ensure correct procedure is performed.
• Instruct patients and families on post-operative care and home management.
