Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. This travel position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. The RN will support both circulating and scrub roles as needed and may assist as RN first assistant.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience in the operating room, strong patient care skills, and compliance with facility protocols. BLS is required and additional certifications may be needed before starting.

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients during procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education.
• Serve as communication liaison between patients' families and operating team.
