Job summary

TotalMed RN in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse (Circulator/Scrub) for a 13-week travel assignment. The role requires a circulating RN with 1–2 years acute care experience, and may include RN first assistant duties. Shifts are 12 hours, days, with 36 hours per week, ASAP start.

The nurse will support surgical teams, provide pre- and post-operative care, and educate patients and families. Benefits include weekly pay, education, and more.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years acute care experience as circulating nurse or scrub nurse.
• RN with OR circulation/scrub experience and potential RN first assistant.
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Prepare instruments, monitor patients during surgery and respond to complications.
• Communicate with patients' families; ensure correct procedures.
• Perform bedside care and medication administration as needed.
