Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reston, Virginia, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shifts in the OR Open Heart unit.

The role requires sterile technique, proactive teamwork, and the ability to support cardiac procedures such as CABG, MVR, AVR, and vascular cases while rotating to main ORs as needed. CNOR preferred; CPR/BLS certification; candidates must reside within commuting distance to the hospital.

Qualifications

• CNOR preferred; CPR or BLS certification
• Related OR OH experience; no minimum years required
• Located within commuting distance to hospital

Responsibilities

• Support the surgical team in cardiac procedures in the OR.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment setup.
• Floats to main ORs as needed and assists with complex procedures
