Qualifications

• Valid Basic Life Support certification must be current.
• NBSTSA certification required for CVOR surgical technologist.
• Completion of a surgical technologist program is required.
• At least 2 years CVOR scrub experience plus travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for CVOR cases.
• Assist in patient positioning and room turnover.
• Pull supplies, perform counts with RN, and maintain confidentiality.
• Support open heart procedures in an OR environment on travel assignment.
