Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Silverdale, Washington. The OR Open Heart Specialist will support cardiac procedures in a high-volume facility, performing scrubbing and circulating duties while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety.

The position runs from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, with 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, and possible on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid WA state license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience including open heart procedures
• Travel/onsite experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical support in complex cardiac cases in a high-volume OR
• Scrub and circulate for open heart procedures as assigned
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical standards during operations
