VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Reston, Virginia. The role focuses on CST CVOR support in a hospital setting, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour shifts, starting ASAP.

The package includes a travel contract with detailed duties and responsibilities across open heart and vascular procedures. The position requires teamwork, sterile technique, and room setup expertise, with advanced capabilities in Belmont and cell saver systems.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and ability to scrub or circulate procedures together with the surgical team.
• Strong room setup, turnover, and instrument handling skills.
• Advanced sterile technique, central line and art line setup.
• Belmont setup/operation and cell saver proficiency; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with open heart procedures (CABGs, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS) and vascular cases.
• Prepare and set up surgical equipment including Belmont and cell saver systems.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Assist with room turnover and setup for subsequent cases.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure flow.
