Cross Country Nurses in Altoona, PA is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in the operating room, supporting cardiac surgeries. The role requires BLS and CST certification with 2 years of experience; start date 10/12/2026 and end 01/09/2027; 40 hours per week, days shift. You will assist sterile setup, pass instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and uphold safety protocols throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited surgical technology program and CST certification with BLS.
• Two years of surgical technologist experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• PA Act 31/33/34/73 certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist sterile setup for cardiac surgeries and pass instruments.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safety protocols throughout procedures.
• Assist in specimen care and support the surgical team as needed.
