Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (Journey Traveler) for nationwide 13-week assignments. You will implement OT programs, deliver treatments, and document outcomes under the supervision of an OT.

Travel and relocation may be required. You will participate in care conferences, contribute to treatment planning, and educate patients and families on OT techniques while collaborating with the rehab team to maximize independence for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• Initial NBCOT certification.
• Licensed and/or eligible for state licensure.
• Willing and able to travel and reside away from home.

Responsibilities

• Implement OT programs and provide therapy under supervision of an OT.
• Attend patient care conferences and meetings as OT representative.
• Deliver rehab services per plan of care with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with rehab team to develop patient-centered programs.
• Instruct patients and families on OT techniques and activities.
