Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a licensed or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant for Journey Traveler assignments across the United States. The OTA will implement therapy programs under OT supervision and contribute to patient care during 13-week rotations.

The role requires travel capability, strong collaboration with the rehab team, and timely documentation while delivering high-quality care to patients in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial NBCOT certification is required or eligible for licensure in the practicing state.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.
• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of an OT.
• Contribute to patient care meetings and care planning.
• Document services timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with rehab team to develop patient-centered programs.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in therapy techniques.
