Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to travel nationwide on 13-week assignments, delivering OT programs and treatments under supervision to improve independence and function. You will participate in patient care, document progress, and collaborate with the rehab team.

Requires an accredited OTA program, NBCOT certification, and licensure eligibility; travel willingness is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• Must be available to travel to and reside away from home locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments to deliver occupational therapy services.
• Attend patient care and team meetings as a representative of occupational therapy.
• Deliver individualized OT interventions and document progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and adjust therapy plans.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in OT techniques and activities.
• Maintain timely documentation and report equipment needs for repairs.
