Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Journey Traveler role with Powerback rehabilitation. You will travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, delivering OT services under supervision and documenting care to improve patient independence.

You must be an OTA graduate, NBCOT-certified, and licensed or eligible for licensure, with readiness to relocate as needed and work in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Must be available to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments and temporarily reside away from home.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and treatments under the supervision of an OT to increase patient independence.
• Attend patient care and staffing conferences as a representative of occupational therapy.
• Ensure timely documentation of services and adherence to the plan of care.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to develop patient-centered programs.
• Instruct patients and families in OT techniques.
• Maintain proper documentation for all patients treated.
• Maintain and report equipment needs and repairs.
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality.
