Job summary

Genesis HealthCare's Powerback Therapy Services seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a nationwide traveler program. The Journey Traveler role requires you to travel 13-week assignments, provide OT treatments under supervision, and collaborate with the rehab team to promote independence for patients.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited OTA program, holds NBCOT certification, and is licensed or eligible to practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• Available to travel and reside away from home.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.
• Implement OT programs and provide treatments under supervision.
• Attend patient care conferences and coordinate with rehab team.
• Document services timely and accurately.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed.
