Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a hospital-based acute care rehabilitation unit in Florence, SC. The role requires a SC or multistate compact license, NBCOT, BLS, and prior travel experience.

You will work a day shift with weekend and holiday coverage in a hospital setting. Epic EMR is used for charting; scrubs are red tops with black pants and free on-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of OT experience in inpatient rehab
• SC license or Multistate Compact license required at start of contract
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Prior travel experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OT services in a hospital-based acute care unit
• Day shift 7:00a–3:30p, 5x8 hours; weekends 1–2 per month
• Holiday coverage as needed; participate in hurricane-season responses
• Use Epic EMR for charting; maintain clean patient records
• Scrub color: red top with black pants; on-site parking provided
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; locals not accepted
• First-time travelers not eligible; ensure prior staff separation rules are followed

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Occupational Therapy role within a hospital-based acute care unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday 7:00a-3:30p
• Weekend work required, approximately 1-2 per month
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Work within an acute care hospital setting providing inpatient rehabilitation services
• Scrub requirement: red scrub top with black scrub pants
• Free parking available on-site
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as locals are not accepted
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration, as approval is based on facility needs
• Staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs June through November
