American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit with NBCOT certification and inpatient rehab or acute care background. A current OT license and BLS are required, with Epic EMR experience strongly preferred.

The role focuses on neurological rehab, stroke care, and complex caseloads with 1:1 patient care. Travel-friendly schedule options include 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, with potential to float within the health system.

Competenze

• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, no new graduates considered
• Experience in an Inpatient Rehab Facility strongly preferred; strong acute care background required if not
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with prosthetics/orthotics, dynamic and functional splints preferred
• Experience with CVA rehabilitation, amputee care, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury preferred

• 1:1 patient ratio

• Schedule options include 5x8 day shifts (8a-4:30p, Fri-Tues) or 4x10 day shifts (8a-6:30p, Fri-Mon)
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed
• Responsibilities include evaluations, assessments, reassessments, discharge planning, and plan of care documentation
• Perform wheelchair evaluations, adjustments, and positioning
• Conduct home assessments and community re-entry planning
• Provide adaptive equipment assessments and cognitive/perceptual evaluations
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation and cardiac rehabilitation techniques
• Support orthopedic cases including hip and knee replacements and soft tissue injuries
• All clinicians must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Non-billable orientation modules required, averaging 2-4 hours depending on unit
• First-time travelers considered if candidate has prior Inpatient Rehab experience
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO accepted
