American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment focused on geriatric patients. The role requires 1+ year of OASIS and HCHB experience with an active OT license and travel-friendly logistics.

Day shifts, 5x8 hours, with on-call every 6th weekend. Mileage reimbursed; iPad provided; transportation must be independent for each traveler.

Qualifications

• Active OT license required (license required if applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant home health experience.
• BLS certification required; NBCOT certification preferred.
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) charting system required.
• OASIS experience required.
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting providing OT services to a geriatric patient population.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day.
• On-call rotation required every 6th weekend.
• Travelers must be flexible with assigned territory.
• EMR: HCHB experience required.
• OASIS experience required for SOC assessments.
• Ensure timely documentation and communication of patient care.
• Complete Hospice/Home Health compliance checklist as part of onboarding.
• Attend Monday orientation, including completion of billable modules.
• Scrub attire required in any color; jeans not permitted.
• iPad provided for use; personal cell phone not required.
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role.
• Local candidates will not be considered.
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have independent transportation.
• Former employees must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
