Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment in California. The role requires 1+ year of home health experience and OASIS proficiency, with a 8-hour day shift and 36 guaranteed hours per week.

You will cover the Salinas/Watsonville service area, travel up to 50 miles, and use Home Health MD EMR. Mileage is reimbursed; on-site attire is business casual or scrubs; local candidates only.

Qualifications

• Current CA OT license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Reliable personal transportation required

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering the Salinas/Watsonville territory
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• 1:1 patient ratio, visiting up to 6 patients per day with 30 productivity points standard
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Weekends as needed
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: Home Health MD
• Provide home health occupational therapy services with efficient scheduling to minimize drive time
• Occasional travel radius of 50+ miles may be required
• Timely communication and documentation required
• Documentation tools provided by facility and must be returned at assignment end
• Business casual attire or scrubs acceptable
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• No parking costs
• Local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
