American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role requires travel experience and a strong pediatric/mental health background.

The position involves providing OT evaluations and both group and individual treatments within a multidisciplinary rehab team, covering adult and pediatric behavioral health patients. Typical schedule is 8 hours, weekdays with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Massachusetts (MA) is required.
• Eligible degrees include BS, MS, or OTD in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an OT.
• Travel experience is required.
• Inpatient behavioral health experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess and treat patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team for adults and children.
• Provide OT evaluations, and both group and individual treatments.
• Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with some flexibility; 5 shifts/week, possible Saturdays.
• Treat patients ages 4–18 in inpatient behavioral health settings.

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit requiring prior travel experience and inpatient pediatric/mental health background.

Requirements

• Current MA OT license required, if applicable
• BS, MS, or OTD in Occupational Therapy
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Travel experience required
• Inpatient behavioral health experience desired
• Ability to work with patients with neurodevelopmental and/or psychiatric diagnoses
• Two recent references matching specialty from a manager or supervisor
• Driver's license with address matching demographics

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• Multidisciplinary rehab team supporting adult and pediatric behavioral health patients
• Inpatient adult behavioral health setting with patients ages 4-18
• Covers various units as needed
• 8-hour day shift, primarily 8 AM - 4:30 PM with some flexibility required
• 5 shifts per week with possible Saturday coverage and a weekday off in exchange
• Epic EMR experience preferred for most units
• Complete OT evaluations and provide both group and individual treatments
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehab team
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• RTO limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted upfront
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Accepts local candidates within 50 miles at a reduced local rate
