Job summary
Medcor is seeking a Full Time Float Nurse to provide onsite staffing relief and training across client clinics in multiple states. The Float Nurse will deliver care per Medcor protocols and travel primarily through the Quad Cities, Waterloo and Des Moines.
Typical workweek is Monday–Friday with some weekend travel. You must hold valid unrestricted multi-state RN/LVN/LPN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and at least three years of clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Unrestricted multistate nursing licensure (RN/LVN/LPN) required.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- At least three years of clinical experience.
- Experience with workers' compensation and occupational health.
- Strong computer and technology skills; proficient with EMR systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb and assist with clinic setups.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat illnesses and injuries per Medcor protocols.
- Provide services to employees, including work-related injuries.
- Support wellness programs and preventive care initiatives.
- Assist with pre-employment and employee drug screens.
- Document care clearly in the EMR; ensure accuracy and privacy per HIPAA.
