Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT experience and current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification to join our imaging team in Washington, DC.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, ARRT or CNMT registration, and 2+ years of experience in a similar facility. AA/BS degree preferred; license as applicable. On-site schedule is day shift.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Board certification or registration (CNMT/ARRT) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• AA or BS degree in nuclear medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician orders with radiologist supervision.
• Experience performing PET/CT scans is required.
• Maintain NRC-compliant QA/QC procedures.
• Ensure accurate data entry in HIS and PACS systems.
• Accept local candidates at the same rate.

Requirements

• Board Certified CNMT or ARRT(N)
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or CNMT certified through NMTCB
• AA or BS degree in nuclear medicine from an accredited college or university preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Experience at a comparable facility size is required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine department performing in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides
• Doses patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals per physician orders under Radiologist supervision
• Experience performing PET/CT scans required
• Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Completes quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and Nuclear Regulatory Commission license
• Ensures complete and accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System and Picture Archival and Communication System
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate
