Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of high-paced Nuc Med experience and ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.

Responsibilities include performing a range of studies, 6-10 scans per day, using Epic EMR and Synapse/PACS, with 4x10 hour day shifts Monday-Thursday, plus weekend/holiday calls. Orientation provided; travel housing and licensure support available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-paced Nuclear Medicine department.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.
  • License required if applicable.
  • Must be able to start IVs.
  • Driver's license copy required for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Acute care hospital setting in the Nuclear Medicine department.
  • Performs cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, parathyroid, thyroid, thyroid therapy, and DAT studies.
  • Average of 6-10 scans/studies per day.
  • In-house radiologist available.
  • Uses Epic EMR and Synapse/PACS imaging system.
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Thursday.
  • Weekend and holiday call requirements.
  • No floating to other departments required.
  • No dedicated Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on site.
  • No use of RRAs.
  • Department-specific orientation provided.
  • One week of orientation required; clinicians expected to be in-state even if initial modules are remote.
  • No scrubs provided; solid colors required with no prints or graphics.
  • Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.
