Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital-based unit. The candidate must hold CNMT or ARRT (N) certification, have PET scan experience, and at least 1 year of experience. BLS is required, with NMTCB preferred.

Siemens equipment experience is a plus as is Cerner charting familiarity. The role involves adult and pediatric patient care, on-call duties, and a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• PET scan experience is required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal and thyroid studies.
• Conduct cardiac nuclear imaging including myocardial perfusion and MUGA scans.
• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department responsibilities for adult and pediatric patients.
• On call as needed by facility and serve 8:00 AM–4:00 PM day shifts (5x8).
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and PET scan experience for a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit.

Requirements

• CNMT or ARRT (N) required, with ARRT (N), CNMT, and NMTCB preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in profession
• PET scan experience required
• Experience with bone scan, 3 phase, whole body, shunt, ventricular, and myocardial studies preferred
• Experience with adenosine infusion, exercise/rest stress testing, persantine infusion, pharmacological stress, and thallium stress testing
• Experience with MUGA scan, abdominal imaging, and SPECT preferred
• Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• License required if applicable
