Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine & CT Technologist for an outpatient imaging center. Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT is required, with nuclear cardiology experience essential.

Responsibilities include a wide range of studies across pulmonary, cardiac, bone, renal, GI, thyroid, and liver imaging, using EPIC for charting. Expect 4x10 hour days, no weekends or on-call, and travel-friendly assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear cardiology experience.
• BLS certification required.
• NMT credential: ARRT(N) or CNMT.
• CT credential: ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or RT(R)(CT)(ARRT), or RT(N)(CT)(ARRT).
• License required where applicable; NJ license accepted at submission.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient adult imaging center setting.
• Approximately 6-8 cases per technologist per day.
• Procedures include pulmonary, myocardial, bone/renal, GI/thyroid/liver, and SPECT imaging.
• Uses EPIC for charting.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• Candidates must float within their skillset without exception.
• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine and CT imaging procedures.
• Any color scrubs permitted.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.

• License required if applicable
• Pending NJ license accepted at time of submission
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Management/lead experience preferred
• PET scan and pediatric experience preferred

• Procedures include pulmonary (lung scan perfusion, ventilation/perfusion), myocardial (exercise/rest single and multiple, pharmacological stress), bone/renal (3 phase, limited, whole body bone scans, captopril renal flow), GI/thyroid/liver (gastric emptying, I-123 uptake scan, liver imaging), and SPECT (bone, thyroid, cardiac imaging)
• Uses EPIC for charting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:0 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Candidates must float within their skillset without exception
• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine and CT imaging procedures across pulmonary, cardiac, bone, renal, GI, thyroid, and liver studies
• Any color scrubs permitted
• No winter holiday coverage requirement
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former employees of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a travel clinician
