American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital-based role covering general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies.

Requirements include ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and BLS, with 1–2 years of experience. PACS and PET experience are required; references and license (if applicable) are necessary. Normal hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a day shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cover general Nuclear Medicine, PET and cardiac studies in a hospital setting
• Perform QA and scheduled protocol reviews
• Venipuncture and IV starts as needed
• Unit doses provided daily by outside radiopharmacy
• Work 6:30 AM–4:30 PM; day shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Maintain Epic or Cerner EMR documentation
• Travel between hospital units/affiliates as agreed
• Background check and license verification may be required
• New hires may be eligible as travelers under policy

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and PACS/PET experience for a hospital-based role covering general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies.

Requirements

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required at time of hire
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in specialty required
• PACS and PET experience required
• Preferred experience in ER, Adult ICU, phlebotomy, radiation planning therapy, Y90, Lutathera, and Pluvicto
• Preferred experience with Bone Scan, SPECT, Myocardial studies, Thyroid Studies, and Renal Flow procedures
• Preferred experience with GE equipment
• Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs
• Preferred experience in community hospital and Trauma Level I/II settings
• References required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Hospital and clinic-based Nuclear Medicine department
• Covers general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies
• Department also performs therapies including Y90, Lutathera, and Pluvicto
• Unit doses provided daily by outside radiopharmacy
• Normal operating hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Daily duties include QA, venipuncture, and scheduled exam protocol reviewi
• Preferred experience with Epic and Cerner EMR systems
• Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within the radius will not be accepted
• Floating to hospital units or affiliate hospitals is not required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
• Background check policy allows case-by-case approval for license or background hits
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning
• First-time travelers may be considered
