Wellpath is seeking a Travel Nurse Practitioner to provide onsite medical care to inmates across various correctional facilities in Kentucky. The NP conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and documents care using EMR systems, collaborating with physicians and mental health professionals.

Regular travel and adaptability to different work environments are required. The role requires an active KY NP license, DEA registration, BLS and PALS if applicable, and a master’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing with NP licensure.
• Correctional/detention facility experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver medical care for acute and emergency conditions at various locations.
• Evaluate, document, and treat patients per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and assess psychiatric stability as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in quality programs.
• Travel to different sites to support clinical operations and staffing.
