Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• An advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current NP licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to inmates, including exams, chronic care clinics, and infirmary rounds.
• Maintains accurate SOAP-style progress notes and follows formulary guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with site leadership for coverage.
• Supports admissions, transfers, and specialty referrals as needed.
