Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) travel nurse in Glendale, AZ. The RN will provide critical NICU care for sick and premature infants, with a 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift.

Requirements include BLS and 1-2 years of acute care experience. The role includes benefits such as weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and medical benefits as part of TotalMed RN’s travel staffing services.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 1-2 years of acute care RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for sick and premature infants in NICU.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and IV therapy.
• Monitor equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
