ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse for the NICU in Cincinnati, OH. The assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, including 12-hour rotating night/day shifts, starting 10/12/2026.

The NICU RN will care for high-acuity neonates in a Level IV unit, manage ventilators and support for families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. OH license and BLS are required; 2+ years NICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current OH or Compact RN License.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level IV NICU experience.
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care is mandatory.
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide nursing care for critically ill neonates.
• Monitor and assess patient status, maintaining a focus on critical and high-acuity cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Servo ventilators, Nitric Oxide, and Giraffe beds.
• Provide support for families during their child’s critical care journey.

Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with Level IV NICU experience to provide care to a high volume of acute and intubated neonates. The nurse will be involved in managing complex medical conditions, providing support for neonates with surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological issues.
