ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. The RN will assess neonates, develop care plans, and monitor outcomes in a Level III/IV NICU setting.

The role requires 2+ years NICU experience, EPIC proficiency, BLS, NRP, and a Texas or Compact RN license. Assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, and weekend shifts included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III/IV experience.
• Experience with HIE, surfactant administration, and PICC line placement.
• Active Texas or Compact RN license.
• EPIC experience required.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Submission of supervisory references and a detailed resume required.

Job Description

The RN is a licensed professional who uses the nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery, focusing on specific health conditions in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The RN assesses patients, identifies nursing diagnoses, develops and implements individualized care plans, and evaluates patient responses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess patients and deliver appropriate care.
• Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on individual patient conditions and competencies.
• Assist patients in transitioning through the healthcare system efficiently, minimizing complications and delays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience.
• Experience with HIE, surfactant administration, and PICC line placement is required.
• Active Texas or Compact RN license.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Submission of supervisory references and a detailed resume required.
