Job summary

Acuren is recruiting Pipeline Technicians for operations in Quinnesec, MI and surrounding areas. This will be a callout/travel position with up to 90% travel across Michigan and nearby states.

NDT Assistants will support calibration, nondestructive testing, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions and record results. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, assisting Radiographers, and documenting inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
