Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking Pipeline Technicians for operations in Quinnesec, MI and surrounding areas. This is a callout/travel position requiring travel up to 90% across Michigan and nearby states to support projects in chemical, refining, and energy sectors.

As an NDT Assistant you will set up equipment, assist radiographers, perform tests, and record results. The role demands a HS diploma, willingness to travel, and ability to pass security screens; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Must pass drug/alcohol and background screens per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
