Acuren is recruiting NDT Assistants for Quinnesec, MI and surrounding areas. This is a callout/travel position requiring travel up to 90% across Michigan and nearby regions, working in environments like chemical plants and refineries.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers, performing nondestructive tests, recording inspection results, and supporting other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• NDT knowledge and practical calibration skills are essential.
• Ability to perform nondestructive tests per written instructions.
• Record results accurately and maintain documentation.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for Pipeline Technicians for operations in Quinnesec, MI and surrounding areas. THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION.

Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 90% throughout Michigan and surrounding areas. (Environments will be Corn/Agricultural, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries and Pharmaceuticals.)

NDT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREENS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
