Job summary

Acuren is seeking Pipeline Technicians for operations in Quinnesec, MI and surrounding areas. This travel-intensive role requires the ability to travel up to 90% across Michigan and nearby regions, working in environments such as Corn/Agricultural, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries and Pharmaceuticals.

NDT Assistants will perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection, following written instructions and recording results.

Qualifications

• Experience with nondestructive testing methods per written instructions.
• Ability to travel up to 90% throughout Michigan and surrounding areas.
• Background checks to meet client requirements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
