American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and at least 6 months of MRI experience to work independently in a hospital radiology department.

Responsibilities include operating two MRI scanners, shift coverage, and use of Meditech EMR. Cardiac and neuro MRI experience are preferred; local candidates outside a 50-mile radius will not be considered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 6 months of MRI Tech experience
• Must be able to scan independently
• IV insertion skills required
• Cardiac MR and advanced neuro experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Radiology/MRI unit with 2 scanners: 1 GE 1.5T and 1 Siemens 3T
• 4 MRI techs on staff during the day plus on-call coverage overnight
• Weekday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Typical procedures include neuro, liver, pelvis, pediatric, and cardiac MR imaging
• Candidates should be easygoing and willing to assist wherever needed
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Local candidates will not be considered; a 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
