Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to serve as a trainer and mentor for less experienced MRI staff. You must have 3+ years of registered MRI experience, ARRT MR, and BLS certification. You will work with Siemens equipment and GE PACS, utilizing Epic EMR for documentation.

Expect 4x10 hour day shifts (Tue–Fri, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no weekends or on-call. Local candidates and travelers are welcomed, with housing and travel accommodations provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of MRI experience (Registered)
• Experience training and supporting less experienced MRI staff required
• ARRT (MR, R) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic experience within the last 18 months documented on candidate profile
• Must pass Epic competency exam on site with one attempt
• Proficiency in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Experience starting peripheral IVs required
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety required

Responsibilities

• MRI Tech unit supporting Radiology/Cardiology services
• Work settings include Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma, Pediatric Outpatient
• Performs imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal regions, including MRCP, MRA, MRV
• Uses Siemens equipment and GE PACS
• Epic EMR experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Tue-Fri, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call and no weekends required
• Facility open to holiday coverage discussions
• Role involves training and mentoring less experienced MRI staff
• Travelers are expected to float unless stated
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at same rate
• No block scheduling or special schedule requests

• Travelers are expected to float unless otherwise stated
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
