Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of clinical MRI experience for a Level I trauma teaching hospital in Wisconsin.

Applicants must hold ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and AHA BLS. Prior teaching hospital experience and proficiency in contrast media, radiation safety, and IV administration are preferred. Licensure as applicable may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical MRI experience required.
• ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification or ARMRIT certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
• Level I Trauma experience required; Level II Trauma experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Licensed if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work within the MRI department at a teaching hospital setting.
• Imaging adults and pediatric patients across acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings.
• Follow schedule: Monday-Thursday 1:30 PM-9:30 PM with Friday day/evening shift; 8-hour shifts.
• May be assigned other shifts based on business needs.
• No weekends or call required; holiday coverage as needed.
• Locations include University Hospital and nearby facilities; uses GE MRI and PACS.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Perform a wide range of MRI exams (abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, MSK, cardiovascular).
• Perform special imaging procedures (MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion, spectroscopy).
• Float across facility locations as needed.
• Must live at least 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Telemetry exam pass/fail with specific criteria; two attempts allowed.
• References not required; Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranking top in Wisconsin.

• Performs special imaging procedures such as MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, and spectroscopy
• Required to float as needed across facility locations
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria for adult and pediatric rhythm identification
• Two attempts allowed for telemetry exam; a third attempt requires completion of a cardiac interpretation review course
• References are not required for consideration
