Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Traverse City, Michigan. This contract involves 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and travel staffing across the US.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of continuous MRI technologist experience.
• Valid state MRI license.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and protocols.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Experience in hospital clinical environments; EP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols for patient safety and image quality.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Monitor patients and ensure safety around the magnetic field.
• Train new staff and students as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology leadership to optimize workflows.
• Perform studies according to protocols and document results.
