MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract in Traverse City, Michigan. This assignment requires 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift and a 13-week duration, offering a competitive travel pay package and tax-free stipends to be determined.

Ideal candidates will have completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program, state registration, and ARRT registry. Prior MRI experience, preferably in critical care, is preferred, along with strong patient safety

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsabilités

• Safely and efficiently operate MRI scanners to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around MRI magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the MRI table.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and monitor image data.
• Recognize normal vs abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, patient-focused care.
