Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in West Reading, PA. You will operate MRI scanners, interact with patients, and support the radiology team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate has radiology training with MRI specialization, at least 1 year of MRI experience, and current BLS certification. Travel compensation includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• 1 year of MRI experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for proper functionality.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for diagnostic results.
• Document all procedure details per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure timely results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow infection control rules.
• Follow hospital safety and radiation safety protocols.
