Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in West Reading, PA. You will operate MRI scanners, interact with patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires MRI program completion, 1 year of MRI experience, and active license with BLS certification. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• Radiology program with MRI specialization required.
• Minimum 1 year MRI tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions if they arise.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions.
• Start I.V.s and administer contrast media per orders and protocol, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust scanning parameters for diagnostic results.
• Document all procedure details in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely delivery of results.
