Job summary

Supplemental Health Care has a travel MRI Technologist position in Philadelphia, PA. The assignment is 13 weeks long, requires 40 hours per week, and runs day shifts. This travel role involves working in a hospital setting under SHC’s staffing program.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration, and Phillips MRI experience, plus BLS and at least 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration required.
• Phillips MRI Systems experience.
• Current state license, if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of MRI Tech experience in hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
