Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, MA. The MRI Tech operates MRI scanners to produce high-quality 3D images, interacts with patients, administers contrast as needed, and collaborates with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostics.

Responsible for equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

• MRI tech with 1 year of experience
• Current Radiology/MRI license per state regulations
• BLS certification on file

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and answer questions
• Maintain, inspect and troubleshoot MRI equipment
• Start IVs and administer contrast per orders
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters
• Document procedure details in hospital records
• Collaborate with radiologists for timely results
• Maintain clean, organized workspace
• Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Perform other duties within MRI technologist scope
